Physical Mathematics:
Applications of Physics to Mathematics
Physical mathematics is a relatively new area of physics inspired by string theory.It deals with applications of physics to mathematical problems.I will discuss various areas of mathematics which have been influenced by physics. Examples will include knot theory, curve counting and geometry.
