Abstract

In this seminar, Dr. Maasoomah Sadaf will present the nonlinear Schrödinger equation, a significant evolution equation arising in nonlinear optics and other areas of science. This seminar focuses on a brief overview of optical solitons as well as the construction of chirped and chirp-free optical solitons for the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with generalized anti-cubic nonlinearity.
