We are pleased to share the highlights of the recent Industrial Tour to Ecolean Pakistan Private Limited, held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. The visit was organized as part of CMAP’s efforts to strengthen academia-industry linkages and to provide students with firsthand exposure to industrial practices aligned with sustainability goals.
Ecolean is a system supplier of packages, filling machines, downstream equipment and services for the liquid food industry. They serve both chilled and ambient products within dairy categories as well as plant-based and still drinks.
With an innovative lightweight packaging solution that promotes resource efficiency, Ecolean can help the world use less resources. Their packaging not only uses less material and energy, it also helps to minimize food waste and ensure food safety. In short – their lightweight packaging solution ensures more food with less resources.
A group of around 32 participants, including BS students, MS/PhD research scholars, and faculty members, led by Dr. Muhammad Imran Asjad (Director, CMAP), had the opportunity to tour the state-of-the-art packaging production facility of Ecolean. The visit offered insightful understanding into lightweight packaging solutions, sustainability-driven innovation, and advanced production processes.
